In FY 2017, OSHA conducted 32,408 total inspections - 18,031 (56%) of which were “unprogrammed,” meaning inspections conducted due to complaints, injuries, fatalities, and referrals. Employers and administrators should never be too careful or plan too much when it comes to keeping employees safe and having the correct supplies on hand when an injury event occurs.
ISS helps protect not just employees through the supply of required first-aid kits and products, but also helps protect the employer’s bottom line. Through regular monitoring and supplying of required first aid products, employers may avoid steep OSHA penalties.
OSHA maximum penalties were adjusted on January 23, 2019. Penalties can include up to $13,260 per violation with and additional $13,260 per day beyond the abatement date given. What’s more, states that operate their own occupational safety and health plans are required to adopt maximum penalty levels that are at least as effective as federal OSHA levels.

While taking care of the customer is the top priority, equal attention and resources are applied to the selection of supplies and vendor networks that we pull from when creating our compliance packages. Both economy and industrial-level first aid kits, refill supplies, portable first aid kits, OSHA contractor kits, first responder kits, job site kits, and work truck kits are just a sampling of the industrial products stock and maintain.
On the commercial side, we supply and maintain first aid and first responder kits for offices, food preparation sites, restaurants, sports facilities, and daycare facilities, just to name a few.
We also offer the flexibility of creating custom first aid and response kits to customers with specialized safety needs. Talk to us about your custom requirements and we’ll be able to provide a customized solution built specially for you.
